Location: The job holder is required to travel to and from work at various locations throughout the UK. Shared transport may be provided.

Key Tasks, Duties and Accountabilities

The job holder will be operating heavy plant and equipment which may include dumpers and rollers, forward tipping dumpers, 180 and 360 excavators and excavators above and below 10 tonne. The job holder will have a varied job and in addition to operating plant and machinery they may in addition be involved in other ground worker laying drains both deep and shallow, concreting works, foundations, slab preparations, paving and kerbing work.
The job holder will have the following duties:
- To complete work tasks allocated by the site supervisor on a daily basis
- Report any work problems or issues to the site supervisor
- To be responsible for own health and safety and that of those working alongside you
- Carry out daily safety and maintenance checks on plant and machinery
Physical Environment

The job holder will be required to work within a high risk health and safety environment as the projects the Company work on are often fast paced and pressured working alongside other trades and contractors. The job requires the holder to work both within a team but also sometimes on an individual basis. The pace and pressure is often driven by having to work to tight timescales.
