3D models and BIM tools

By using these tools, 3D reviews enable the team to share information so that issues raised directly link to and can be referred to on 3D models. Here are just a few of the main advantages:

  • Time saved through increased speed of delivery
  • Fewer errors due to better co-ordination
  • Decreased costs
  • Greater productivity
  • Higher quality of work

BIM allows the creation and use of co-ordinated, digital information for:

  • Design decision-making
  • Production of high-quality construction documents
  • Performance predictions
  • Cost estimating
  • Construction planning
  • Managing and operating the asset
