
We are delighted to have sponsored and taken part in the Supportability Golf Day at Heaton Moor Golf Club.
Supportability supports adults and children with physical and learning disabilities, including autistic spectrum conditions to lead a more independent life.
The charity provides a wide range of activities and focus particularly on individuals with the most complex needs.
The charities key services include:
- Support in the community (domiciliary care services): regular visits to disabled adults and children to enable them to have everyday life experiences outside the home.
- Day Services: To develop skills and learn new ones; typical activities include Computer Skills, Cookery Skills, Flower Arranging, Music and Drama, Photography, Art and Craft, Work Experience and Gardening.
- Disabled Sport, Cycling: Supportability Wheelers offers weekly cycling sessions for disabled children and adults, using a range of specially adapted cycles.
- Residential care at Cheddle Lodge, a purpose-built home in Cheadle, Cheshire, and Supported living for service users with complex needs.
