Emma Hafford our Purchasing Assistant has won the Civil Engineering Award at the Annual CECA North West Awards Dinner 2021.

Emma started at ACS Construction Group in 2018 on a work placement scheme backed by Salford university. She continued to balance studying and work during her final year at university, obtaining a First-Class Honours in Accounting and Finance with Professional Experience Year.

Emma has brought both critical thinking, innovation and creativity to her role at ACS. She has recently been at the forefront and helped drive forward a key costing system change to a more joined-up digital solution. She has also helped to roll this out across our team including conducting training sessions onsite.

On winning the award Emma said: “I was shocked when I heard my name read out. I really wanted to win, and it made me feel valued and everyone was very proud. The award is in my living room at home! It’s a great achievement and I want to keep going further in my role at ACS”.
