Roisin Grady

Meet our new Business Development Executive, Roisin Grady. We caught up with Roisin about her time at ACS so far, her career to date and why she wanted to work with us. Take a look at her thoughts below.

Hi Roisin, could you tell us about your experience prior to ACS?

I’m a recent graduate from the University of Liverpool, and like many other students, I’ve worked in various hospitality roles, from restaurants and bars to silver service waitressing. I’m a people person and really enjoy building new relationships. I believe that strong relationships are key to any business, and my new role will give me the opportunity to enhance and develop these skills.

What academic experience do you have?

I attended Loreto Grammar School for my secondary education and sixth form. I did well in my GCSEs and achieved AAB in A Levels, studying History, Psychology, and Sociology. I then went on to the University of Liverpool to study Business Management. After an amazing three years, I graduated with a 2:1, which I was incredibly proud of.

Why did you decide to move to ACS?

I believe ACS has a lot to offer and is a committed business with ambitious growth plans. The company’s values and ethics really stood out to me, particularly their focus on sustainability. I wanted to put my degree to good use, and I’m excited to take on the role of Business Development Executive. I’m eager to work with the team to help develop the business both internally and externally.

How have you found your time at ACS so far?

I’ve really enjoyed my time at ACS so far; everyone has been very welcoming and attentive. It’s easy to fit in, which I believe is crucial in a working environment as it helps create a dedicated atmosphere.

What are you most looking forward to at ACS?

I’m excited to see the business continue to grow and explore new opportunities. I’m very keen to get involved with the sustainability side of things and implement new ways to collate and report data on our scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions to drive this forward.

What do you like doing outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym and socialising with family and friends. I also have a passion for travelling.
