In this team spotlight, we chatted to our Accounts Manager, Julie Lesbirel, about her role at ACS and her highlights of the job. Read our interview below. 

Hi Julie, how long have you been at ACS? 

I’ve been at ACS for eight years. 

What experience did you have prior to ACS? 

Prior to ACS, I worked for a demolition company for 20 years as their accounts manager. 

Why did you decide to move to ACS? 

I used to come in one day a week to help Martin, our Finance Director, then eventually I was asked to come full time. I didn’t hesitate as I loved working at ACS! 

How have you found your time at ACS so far? 

It’s the best decision I have ever made, and that’s the truth! I love working here, everyone is so friendly, and everyone gets on so well. It is a busy office, but we have some lovely staff lunches, and social evenings. 

What do you like doing outside of work? 

We have an allotment which we can start work on now that the weather is getting better. We have a Yorkshire terrier called Stan, so we go on plenty of walks.  We also love holidays – obviously! I have a new granddaughter who lives in Cambridge so I try to see her and my son and daughter-in-law as much as I can.
