Meet our new Site Engineer, Michael Hudson-Davies. Michael graduated in Construction Project Management from Sheffield Hallam University and has over six years’ experience in the construction industry.
We caught up with Michael about his time at ACS so far and how he has found things since we welcomed him on board – take a look at our Q&A below.
Hi Michael, why did you want to work at ACS?
I knew both Danny Doohan and Paul Grady from the golf club prior to joining ACS and after a chat with Danny about ACS I was impressed, hearing about the success of the business and the future pipeline of work.
I also wanted to broaden my experience and test myself on a wide variety of projects which I believe will help me in my future career.
How have you found your time at ACS so far?
I am enjoying working at ACS; all the people I have met have all been very welcoming. I am enjoying the technical challenge each job has provided me, and I am enjoying further developing my site engineering skills on a wide range of different projects from National Grid substations to a McDonalds truck depot.
What are you most looking forward to at ACS?
I’m looking forward to helping ACS deliver successful projects, progressing my career and passing knowledge on to apprentices.
What do you like doing outside of work?
Outside of work I am a keen sportsman, playing lots of golf and tennis and competing regularly in competitive events.
