We are pleased to welcome Finn O’Brian to ACS Construction Group as a Formwork Joiner Apprentice, joining the team at Project Thor.
Originally from Macclesfield, Finn has already built strong hands-on experience. He has spent summers working in Derry, gained practical skills in landscaping, and most recently served as a bar supervisor at a wedding venue in Bollington.
His interest in construction sparked during 3D design classes at school, and he is now ready to dive into the industry.
When asked why he chose ACS, Finn said the company stood out for its investment in apprentices and the chance to work across a variety of sites and projects.
“Travelling to new places, meeting different people, learning from experienced professionals, and developing hands on skills across a range of projects.”
He also came to us through a referral from a current team member. We are proud that colleagues recommend ACS to friends, and we see that as a real vote of confidence in our culture.
Looking ahead, Finn’s goals for the year include developing his skills, completing both years of his apprenticeship with great results, and maximising his college and site experience along the way.
Away from work, Finn enjoys travelling, playing golf, spending time with friends, and watching rugby.
At ACS we are committed to helping young people build meaningful careers in construction.
Everyone at ACS Construction Group welcomes Finn to the team, and we look forward to supporting his journey at Project Thor and beyond.
